Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the visiting Cy-Ridge Rams (Houston, TX), saw Cypress Ranch's basketball squad hold off Cy-Ridge by a tally of 67-65.

With the victory, Cypress Ranch improves its record to 18-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Cypress Creek (Houston, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 6A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 18-9. Cypress Creek lost 67-66 in their recent league challenge against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Rams confront the Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Cy-Ridge will attempt to improve on its 11-17 season record.
