Ohio High School Basketball - Danville holds off Hayes
December 4, 2023: Danville, OH 43014 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Danville Blue Devils (Danville, OH) and the visiting Hayes Pacers (Delaware, OH), saw Danville's basketball squad hold off Hayes by a tally of 64-60.
With the victory, Danville improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH) to confront the Indians in a Knox Morrow challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Mt. Gilead lost 61-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Loudonville (Loudonville, OH)
Next up, the Pacers confront the Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Capital challenge, on Friday, December 8. Hayes will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 51-32 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, OH).
