In Friday's non-league match, the host Americas Trail Blazers basketball team scored a decisive 70-45 triumph over the Midland Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Trail Blazers meet the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 match, on Saturday, December 11. Americas will attempt to move on its 17-1 season record.
