Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Evansville Central Bears (Evansville, IN) and the visiting Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN), saw Evansville Central's basketball squad overcome Castle by a tally of 61-43.

With the victory, Evansville Central improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Bears host Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 12. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Gibson Southern won 58-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN)

Next up, the Knights confront the Bloomington South Panthers (Bloomington, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 13. Castle will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 74-46 non-league loss to Center Grove (Greenwood, IN).
