December 8, 2015: Raleigh, NC 27607 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ravenscroft Ravens (Raleigh, NC) and the host Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC), saw Ravenscroft's basketball squad knock off Cardinal Gibbons by a count of 65-50.
With the victory, Ravenscroft upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Greensboro Day (Greensboro, NC) to play the Bengals in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 11. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Greensboro Day won 71-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Cannon (Concord, NC)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) in a PAC-6 4A challenge, on Wednesday, December 9. Cardinal Gibbons will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 57-45 league loss to East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC).
