The Seaholm Maples basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Franklin Patriots to 19 in the Maples non-league triumph on Friday.

The Maples now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clawson for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18.

The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, South Lyon triumphed over Oak Park (Oak Park, MI), 62-29, in a non-league contest.
