West Virginia High School Basketball - University fells John Marshall
January 6, 2023: Glen Dale, WV 26038 University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), 59-48 in a league bout.
With the win, University upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Wheeling Park lost 61-38 in their recent non-league bout against Dover (Dover, OH)
Next up, the Monarchs clash with the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. John Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 60-34 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV).
