September 10, 2022: Rockford, IL 61109 Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, September 11. Minooka will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL).
The J-Hawks now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harlem for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Jefferson will confront a Huskies team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 1-8.
