December 7, 2018: Tarpon Springs, FL 34688 East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the St. Petersburg Green Devils (St. Petersburg, FL) in a 4A District 10 challenge, on Monday, December 10. East Lake will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Green Devils enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 1-1 non-league Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa, FL).
The Royal Knights now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gulf for a 3A District 8 challenge on Wednesday, December 12. River Ridge will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 5-3 league win over Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-6.
