February 5, 2022: Clinton, MD 20735 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD) and the visiting Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs (White Plains, MD), saw Grace Brethren Christian's basketball squad wallop Southern Maryland Christian Academy by a tally of 75-41.
With the victory, Grace Brethren Christian improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The host Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD) to play the Tigers in a Maryland Independent challenge on Monday, February 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Takoma Academy lost 57-53 in their recent league challenge against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Lanham Christian Lions (Lanham, MD) in a Maryland Independent challenge, on Friday, February 11. Southern Maryland Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
