The Ironwood Eagles topped the visiting Gila Ridge Hawks basketball team by a final score of 57-42 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) in a 5A Northwest game, on Tuesday, February 1. Ironwood will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 17-2 record after their 98-34 league win over Apollo (Glendale, AZ).
