Virginia High School Basketball - George Washington can't hold off Green Run
December 29, 2021: Danville, VA 24541 The Green Run Stallions basketball team scored 55 points and held the host George Washington Eagles to 52 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Stallions now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Washington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Green Run will battle a Eagles team coming off a 77-53 non-league win over Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA). The Stallions enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Green Run nudged Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA), 66-60, in a non-league contest.
