Pennsylvania High School Football - Montour trounces Chartiers Valley
September 12, 2014: Bridgeville, PA 15017 In Friday's league match, the visiting Montour Spartans football squad scored a big 47-6 victory over the Chartiers Valley Colts.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Parkway match, on Friday, September 19. Montour will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 56-7 league loss to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA).
The Colts (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Cougars enter the WPIAL AAA Parkway match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Blackhawk routed New Castle (New Castle, PA), 26-20, in a league match.
