Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) and the host East Chicago Central Cardinals (East Chicago, IN), saw Hammond Morton's basketball squad wallop East Chicago Central by a tally of 60-27.

With the victory, Hammond Morton improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Governors travel to Hammond Clark (Whiting, IN) to confront the Pioneers in a Great Lakes challenge on Saturday, January 23. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 1-10.
