February 1, 2024: Effingham, IL 62401 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) and the visiting Brownstown Bombers (Brownstown, IL), saw St. Anthony's basketball squad overcome Brownstown by a tally of 80-67.
With the victory, St. Anthony improves its record to 22-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Newton (Newton, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 17-10.
Next up, the Bombers play the Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Brownstown will attempt to improve on its 23-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-23 record after their 63-26 non-league loss to Farina South Central (Farina, IL).
