May 14, 2021: East Peoria, IL 61611 Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Richwoods upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to battle the Maroons in a Big Twelve test on Tuesday, May 18. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 16-5. Champaign Central won 18-8 in their recent non-league test against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL)
With the defeat, East Peoria falls to 9-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL) to battle the Eagles in a Mid-Illini test on Saturday, May 15. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 9-7. Dunlap won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Streator (Streator, IL)
