Georgia High School Basketball - Pepperell crushes Gordon Central

January 28, 2022: Calhoun, GA 30701

Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 68-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Pepperell upgrades its record to 6-14 on the season. The Dragons host Bremen (Bremen, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 29. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Bremen won 82-54 in their recent league bout against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a AA Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Gordon Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 65-54 league loss to Coosa (Rome, GA).
