University Pioneers (Normal, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Pioneers battle the Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 30. University will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL).

With the loss, Bloomington drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Purple raiders travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to battle the Titans in a non-league match on Thursday, August 30.
