Texas High School Basketball - Cooper crushes Big Spring
December 3, 2021: Big Spring, TX 79720 Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), 63-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cooper upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Midland (Midland, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Midland won 53-20 in their recent non-league bout against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX)
Next up, the Steers clash with the Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Big Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 42-36 non-league loss to New Deal (New Deal, TX).
