Tandem Friends Badger (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Randolph-Macon Academy Yellowjackets (Front Royal, VA), 75-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Tandem Friends upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Badger travel to Veritas School (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Veritas School lost 64-50 in their recent non-league bout against Covenant (Charlottesville, VA)

The Yellowjackets (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA). The enter the Delaney 1 contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Fredericksburg Christian ran past Wakefield (The Plains, VA), 49-41, in a league contest.
