The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) and the host Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA), observed Central's football squad edge Liberty by a count of 14-10.

The Grizzlies now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Clovis for a contest on Friday, September 29. Central will play a Cougars squad coming off a 24-14 non-league loss to Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
