Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Schuylkill Valley crushes Oxford
December 28, 2022: Leesport, PA 19533 Schuylkill Valley Panthers (Leesport, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA), 55-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Schuylkill Valley upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA) to play the Blue Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Blue Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Tamaqua lost 61-52 in their recent non-league bout against Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA)
Next up, the Hornets play the Newark Charter School Patriots (Newark, DE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Oxford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 60-46 non-league loss to Sankofa Freedom Academy (Philadelphia, PA).
