Newark Reds (Newark, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Waterloo Indians (Waterloo, NY), 72-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Newark upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season.

Next up, the Indians clash with the Red Creek Rams (Red Creek, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 17. Waterloo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 77-44 non-league win over Williamson (Williamson, NY).
