The Lincoln Patriots basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Moorhead Spuds to 26 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riggs for a AA contest on Tuesday, January 3. Lincoln will meet a Governors team coming off a 63-45 league win over Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Governors record now stands at 5-0.

The Spuds (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Red River (Grand Forks, ND). The Roughriders enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record.
