May 17, 2022: Waterbury, CT 06704 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Kaynor Tech Panthers (Waterbury, CT) and the host Wilby Wildcats (Waterbury, CT), witnessed Kaynor Tech's softball squad prevail over Wilby by a count of 16-3.
The Panthers now sport a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Crosby for a non-league match on Friday, May 20. Kaynor Tech will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 23-0 league loss to Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-18.
With the loss, Wilby moves to 2-15 on the season. The Wildcats host Torrington (Torrington, CT) to meet the Raiders in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass match on Wednesday, May 18. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 10-7. Torrington lost 1-0 in their recent league match against St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT)
