The Ionia Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Charlotte Orioles to 39 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sexton for a Capital Area - White contest on Friday, February 18.

The Orioles (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI). The Red Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Paw Paw nudged Allegan (Allegan, MI), 70-61, in a league contest.
