In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Leesburg Yellowjackets basketball team scored a good 60-45 triumph over the Vanguard Knights.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets meet the Lake Minneola Hawks (Minneola, FL) in a 6A District 6 match, on Tuesday, December 16. Leesburg will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 9-1 record after their 75-43 non-league win over East Ridge (Clermont, FL).

With the defeat, Vanguard moves to 5-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL) to confront the Hawks in a 6A District 6 challenge on Thursday, December 11.
