January 28, 2023: Evanston, IL 60201 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL), by a count of 54-38.
The Wildkits (18-6) will now prepare for their outing against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks go into the Central Suburban - South outing with a 10-13 record. In their last outing, Maine South was topped by Niles West (Skokie, IL), 50-45, in a league match.
With the defeat, Niles Notre Dame moves to 12-12 on the year. The Dons travel to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to meet the Redwings in a East Suburban Catholic match on Tuesday, January 31. The Redwings enter the match with a record of 23-1. Benet Academy won 62-37 in their recent league match against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
