Nebraska High School Basketball - Dundy County-Stratton topped by Hitchcock County
December 10, 2022: Benkelman, NE 69021 The Hitchcock County Falcons basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the host Dundy County-Stratton Tigers to 16 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Medicine Valley for a D2 District 9 contest on Thursday, December 15. Hitchcock County will battle a Raiders team coming off a 53-41 non-league loss to Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE). The Raiders record now stands at 1-4.
The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rawlins County (Atwood, KS). The Buffaloes come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Rawlins County was defeated by Quinter (Quinter, KS), 53-49, in a non-league contest.
