January 10, 2023: D'Hanis, TX 78850 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) and the visiting Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX), saw D'Hanis's basketball squad wallop Knippa by a tally of 56-25.
With the victory, D'Hanis improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Leakey (Leakey, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Leakey lost 86-36 in their recent league challenge against Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX)
Next up, the Crushers confront the Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Knippa will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 76-37 league win over Nueces Canyon (Barksdale, TX).
