La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, La Mirada upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Matadores host Canyon (Anaheim, CA) to battle the Comanches in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Comanches come into the test with a record of 1-1. Canyon won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Anaheim (Anaheim, CA)

With the defeat, El Toro falls to 0-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Tustin (Tustin, CA) to play the Tillers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 11. The Tillers enter the contest with a record of 0-2. Tustin lost 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Servite (Anaheim, CA)
