In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Buffalo Grove Bison volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Grayslake Central Rams.

The Bison (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings come into the Mid-Suburban battle with a 2-1 record.
