The Austin Black Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting East Lawrence Eagles to 1 in the Black Bears non-league victory on Monday.

The Black Bears now have a 7-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decatur for a 6A Area 15 game on Wednesday, September 28.

The Eagles (8-16) will now prepare for their game against Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL). The Silent Warriors enter the non-league game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Alabama School for the Deaf was nudged by Childersburg (Childersburg, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
