Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) and the host Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX), witnessed Guyer's softball squad tip Lovejoy by a count of 8-1.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lone Star for a non-league match on Saturday, February 24. Guyer will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Sachse (Sachse, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Lovejoy moves to 6-5 on the season. The Leopards host Rockwall (Rockwall, TX) to meet the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Saturday, February 24.
