Indiana High School Basketball - Alexandria-Monroe overwhelmed by Tipton

The Tipton Blue Devils basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Alexandria-Monroe Tigers to 42 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 19. Tipton will battle a Trojans team coming off a 87-35 non-league win over Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 5-5.

The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Hill (Converse, IN). The Golden Eagles come into the Central Indiana contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Oak Hill triumphed over Eastbrook (Marion, IN), 88-41, in a league contest.
