Oregon High School Basketball - Nestucca tops Taft
November 29, 2023: Cloverdale, OR 97112 Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR), 45-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Nestucca upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Waldport (Waldport, OR) to play the Irish in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Irish come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Waldport lost 39-20 in their recent non-league bout against Colton (Colton, OR)
Next up, the Tigers play the Willamina Bulldogs (Willamina, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 58-34 non-league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, OR).
