Missouri High School Basketball - Kelly overwhelms Kennett
February 13, 2024: Kennett, MO 63857 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kelly Hawks (Benton, MO) and the host Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO), saw Kelly's basketball squad wallop Kennett by a tally of 66-33.
With the victory, Kelly improves its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 11-13. Ste. Genevieve won 53-37 in their recent non-league challenge against West County (Leadwood, MO)
Next up, the Indians play the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) in a Southeast Missouri challenge, on Friday, February 16. Kennett will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 72-40 league win over New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO).
