January 7, 2023: Amelia Court House, VA 23002 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Amelia Academy Patriots (Amelia Court House, VA), saw Atlantic Shores Christian's basketball squad wallop Amelia Academy by a tally of 77-12.
With the victory, Atlantic Shores Christian improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA) to confront the Warriors in a VISAA Division IV challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Hampton Christian Academy won 59-26 in their recent league challenge against Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Kenston Forest Kavaliers (Blackstone, VA) in a VISAA Division III challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Amelia Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Kavaliers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 83-48 league loss to Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA).
