May 11, 2024: West Chicago, IL 60185 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) and the host Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL), saw Carmel's volleyball squad beat Wheaton Academy by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Carmel upgrades its record to 22-9 on the year. The Corsairs travel to Huntley (Huntley, IL) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, May 11. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-25.
The Warriors now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Belvidere North for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 11. Wheaton Academy will play a Blue Thunder squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 2-13.
