Illinois High School Softball - Marengo nudges Stillman Valley
March 19, 2024: Stillman Valley, IL 61084 Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wauconda for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21.
With the loss, Stillman Valley falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Guilford (Rockford, IL) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21.
