Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Donna North Chiefs (Donna, TX), 66-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Los Fresnos upgrades its record to 13-10 on the season. The Falcons host Rivera (Brownsville, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region IV District 32 bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Rivera lost 61-44 in their recent league bout against Weslaco (Weslaco, TX)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Hanna Golden Eagles (Brownsville, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 32 bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Donna North will attempt to upgrade on its 5-20 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 14-12 record after their 67-50 league win over San Benito (San Benito, TX).
