Nevada High School Basketball - Spanish Springs can't hold off Pyramid Lake

The Pyramid Lake Lakers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Spanish Springs Cougars to 50 in the Lakers non-league victory on Friday.

The Lakers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reno for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Pyramid Lake will battle a Huskies team coming off a 65-31 non-league loss to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 1-2.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Buckaroos come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Lowry edged McQueen (Reno, NV), 55-25, in a non-league contest.
