October 30, 2009: Alexandria, LA 71303 The Alexandria Trojans football squad scored 29 points and restricted the visiting Minden Crimson Tide to 6 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grant for a 4A District 4 battle on Friday, November 6. Alexandria will play a Cougars squad coming off a 30-0 league loss to Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
Coming up next, the Crimson Tide play the Woodlawn Knights (Shreveport, LA) in a 4A District 1 battle, on Thursday, November 5. Minden will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 41-14 league loss to Parkway (Bossier City, LA).
