Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA), 43-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hopedale upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Blue Raiders host Maynard (Maynard, MA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Maynard lost 53-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Whitinsville Christian Crusaders (Whitinsville, MA) in a Dual Valley bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Nipmuc Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
