February 10, 2023: Peabody, MA 01960 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners (Peabody, MA) and the visiting Whittier RVT Wildcats (Haverhill, MA), saw Peabody Veterans Memorial's basketball squad wallop Whittier RVT by a tally of 88-51.
With the victory, Peabody Veterans Memorial improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Tanners travel to Saugus (Saugus, MA) to confront the Sachems in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Sachems come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Saugus lost 83-82 in their recent league challenge against Danvers (Danvers, MA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Lowell Catholic Crusaders (Lowell, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Whittier RVT will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 64-59 non-league win over KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate (Lynn, MA).
