In Friday's non-league match, the host Aurora Huskies football squad scored a good 32-6 victory over the Minden Whippets.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) in a C1 District 5 match, on Friday, October 6. Aurora will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 31-7 league win over St. Paul (St. Paul, NE).

The Whippets (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE). The Indians enter the C1 District 6 match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Broken Bow ran past Holdrege (Holdrege, NE), 43-19, in a league match.
