Wisconsin High School Basketball - Brookfield Central tops Marquette University
January 4, 2022: Brookfield, WI 53005 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Brookfield Central Lancers (Brookfield, WI) and the visiting Marquette University Hilltoppers (Milwaukee, WI), saw Brookfield Central's basketball squad knock off Marquette University by a count of 70-61.
With the victory, Brookfield Central upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Wauwatosa East (Wauwatosa, WI) to play the Red Raiders in a Greater Metro challenge on Friday, January 7. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Wauwatosa East won 65-60 in their recent league challenge against Hamilton (Sussex, WI)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the West Allis Hale Huskies (West Allis, WI) in a Greater Metro battle, on Friday, January 7. Marquette University will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 86-61 league loss to Wauwatosa West (Wauwatosa, WI).
