Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA), saw Westminster Academy's basketball squad wallop Newton by a count of 62-36.

With the victory, Westminster Academy upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Valor Christian (Alpharetta, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Valor Christian lost 65-64 in their recent non-league challenge against 1 of 1 Academy (Indian Trail, NC)
