California High School Softball - Port of Los Angeles bounces Mary Star of the Sea
April 22, 2016: San Pedro, CA 90731 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA) and the host Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA), witnessed Port of Los Angeles's softball squad prevail over Mary Star of the Sea by a count of 14-0.
The Polar Bears now sport a 19-3 record. They play next when they travel to San Pedro for a non-league match on Saturday, April 23. Port of Los Angeles will face a Pirates squad coming off a 24-0 league win over Gardena (Gardena, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Mary Star of the Sea moves to 4-12 on the season. The Stars travel to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA) to face the Mariners in a Camino Real match on Monday, April 25. The Mariners go into the match with a record of 11-4. St. Monica won 9-0 in their recent league match against Bellarmine-Jefferson (Burbank, CA)
