January 14, 2022: Houston, TX 77019 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the host St. John's Mavericks (Houston, TX), saw Memorial's soccer squad get by St. John's by a count of 2-1.
The Mustangs now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Strake Jesuit for a non-league test on Saturday, January 15. Memorial will meet a Fighting Crusaders squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Northbrook (Houston, TX). The Fighting Crusaders record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, St. John's drops to 0-2 on the season. The Mavericks travel to St. Andrew's (Austin, TX) to meet the Highlanders in a Division 2 test on Friday, January 28. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 1-0. St. Andrew's won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Austin Achieve (Austin, TX)
